Last week Hobby Lobby (it's crazy that there are fine art supplies I can't get at fine art supply stores and can get at Hobby Lobby) they had a sale on markers. I bought a big hand full of Copic Sketch markers. I already had Prismacolor markers and they are very nice. The problem is that the skin tone range with Prismacolor isn't all I would like it to be. The Copics have a very large range of skin tones and they blend beautifully. I colored this ballerina with my new Copic markers.
She's drawn in my Moleskine. The marker goes down smooth and the shadowing really works. There is only one problem...
This is the back of the paper, the previous page, which already had a portrait on it.
This is the back of the other page, my little japanese bunny and kitty.
Wow. That's a beautiful ballerina.

unfortunately, with those kinds of markers, they bleed through virtually everything except hard board, and some watercolour papers. You might get less bleed with the Hand-book sketchbook, those papers are quite thick (but also rather toothy)
If you want to avoid bleed as much as possible, you might want to look at a watercolour sketch pad, and find a way to keep it safe (like a leather like notepad cover from a staples-like place)

Your ballerina is beautiful. I think the copic website has paper products
for that purpose. I know that Gina K has 110lb paper that won't show through
that is made for greeting card use but I think you want a "book". Blessing
to you.
