...Day I've Ever Known. (well maybe not my very best day, but you know what I mean)
It has been a while since I have posted but there is no way I could go without a post today.
Today I went to a new Richardson friend's house to watch the Inauguration. There were so many things wonderful about this. I love that I have made friends in our new home like the friends I have made here. People that I can spend the day with and openly proclaim my joy for the new era in our country. We had such a wonderful time watching the coverage on TV. Listening to the speeches, prayers, music, and oaths that make our country so amazing.
Something else that I enjoyed was taking the fun posters my daughters made. They are very excited about our new President and very knowledgeable for second and third graders.
I agree it was quite an exciting day! Mamaw & I watched it all live until about about 11:45, at which time we had to leave (to go to work). Then at work the TVs were on, so we could watch more. :-) We have a very good feeling about our new president & our prayers will be with him & his family (& his staff) daily!

I remember separate water fountains and bathrooms for blacks and whites, I am so happy things have changed. I'm very happy we finally have a new president who just happens to be black. Our country has come a long way, it took too long though.
