When Bug was learning her dance during summer workshop her teacher told her they would be dancing with some props that they didn't have yet but they would practice as if they did. Sierra came home and told me this so I asked what it was they would be dancing with. "Hooks," she said. I couldn't imagine how they could be dancing with hooks. One day we were invited in to watch them practice. Only about half the choreography had been learned and they didn't have their props yet, but I was able to figure out that what they would be dancing with would be HOOPS which the teacher said in a way that rhymed with hooks, not oops. I got a good laugh out of that.
