I'm going to start my post with my most serious issue of the moment. I have had a headache for two weeks without a break. The pain is mostly over my left eye and is minimal when I am sitting still. When I strain, bend over, turn my head, lift anything (like my kids) I feel like my brain is exploding. I've taken tylenol, advil, my migraine medication, and codeine. I went to the doctor and she prescribed Midrin, but it didn't help. I went back to the doctor and she gave me a toradol injection (it actually helped a little, for a few hours) and some muscle relaxers to take at home. Those pills don't help me either. My headache is getting worse and I am starting to freak out. I don't know how long I can deal with this pain, it is starting to really wear me down, mentally and physically. Buster is in Wyoming for this entire week so I don't have help with the kids and the house. I've got another call in to my doctor and I hope she can help. Something has got to give.
If anyone who reads this has any ideas, I'm willing to try anything. Do you have any home remedies? Ever had a headache that was hard to get rid of? Please help.
Now on to some pictures to make this a better post.
I made a sweater!!! That's not the best part though. I made it for my cousin's new baby.
Isn't she beautiful?
I don't get to see my cousin, her husband, and their 6 kids nearly enough. This weekend they were in town from Amarillo and we got to spend an entire evening with them. It was wonderful. I don't know how it is that she is able to just keep having more and more amazing children, but she does. You wouldn't believe me if I told you about all of them. Beautiful, talented, and just wonderful to be around. Bug and Bit love being around their cousins just as much as I loved being around mine when I was a kid, it's great.
I've mentioned Coconut & Lime here before. This time I made the most wonderful blackberry clafouti from this amazing foodblog.
The texture of this dessert is so hard to describe that I think you will all just have to make it for yourself. I can hardly wait to try it with cherries, blueberries, or maybe even peaches. Yumm.
Ok, I was going to post more but I am just not feeling up to it. I hope everyone is having a better week than I am.
