...but just about everything else in my house is.

I am participating in Project Spectrum but I haven't had the time to cast on anything for this month's colors, Red and Pink. Even without the project I am still constantly surrounded in these two colors. My kitchen is red, sometimes my hair is red, and everything my daughters touch is pink. I will get to the project soon that takes me down the correct color road, but until then, there is plenty of pink to be seen.
The nearly always pink clad duo of Sapphire and Wainy. That's Sapphire the Sassy Cat on the left. Yesterday we could not find her anywhere so that we could put her new outfit on her. Thankfully she did not get lost in the move and was dressed in her new Limited Too pink clothes this afternoon. Bug will be so happy to see her. On the right is Wain, Bit's bunny. Wainy goes with us everywhere, she is Bitty's best friend and that is all there is to it. Today she decided to stay comfy and wear her Hello Kitty PJs and slippers to school. She was a hit.
As you read above, I haven't started a spectrum project yet because I am in the middle of something. That something is a pair of socks, that I am litterally in the middle of, see...
No, your eyes do not deceive you, that is a nearly completed sock. All that is left is a little blocking and a duplicate stitch apple. Not too bad for a first success. Go me!
Last week I met up with Chris last week for a little birthday (hers, not mine) knitting, yarn shopping, and lunch. We had a great time. Such a great time that I came home with three balls of Rowan Cork.
It was half price. Don't you love half price yarn? I love it so much that I went back on Saturday and bought more.
Also while I was at The Woolie Ewe I fell in love with a sample knit in the store. It was so squooshy and bright and yummy. You can see it here. So when I went back to get the very cheap Cork I also bought the even cheaper Touche'.
I will have that sweater, in lime green, but not until after something pink and red has been completed. First though, the other sock.
